ETHNO TSISKVILI

Awarding Parthner

The story begins in the nineties of the last century, at a time when on Beliashvili street, now the famous restaurant area, was a real, old water mill. No one knows what fate awaited this historical relic if the current leaders of “TsiskvilJgupi” didn’t choose this place for building a first-class Georgian restaurant. The name and theme comes from water mill. Architect Mamuka Chkhaidze kept the relief of terrace untouched and turned the natural waterfall and above mentioned the old water mill into a visit card of this place. The restaurant opened in 2002 and quickly gained popularity. At that time independent Georgia was making the first step in the development. If capital had to host leaders of international organizations and leaders of countries with traditional Georgian hospitality and European service standards it was honorable mission of “Tsiskvili” and for 14 years still nothing changed.
