National Tourism Awards of Georgia is a unique platform celebrating and promoting excellence, quality and innovation in Georgia’s tourism and hospitality industry since 2015. For ten years, NTA recognizes and rewards the outstanding contributions of companies, organizations and individuals who contribute to the growth and success of Georgian tourism industry.

Open Nominations: Businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to apply. Applicants choose relevant award categories based on their profile and achievements. Nominations are submitted via our website www.tourismawards.ge
Registration Confirmation and Eligibility Check: Nominees will be contacted by NTA Team via email to confirm their registration. Nominees are given the opportunity to provide information and submit materials to support their case. All applications are reviewed to ensure compliance with eligibility criteria.
Evaluation and Judging Process: Evaluation process consists of several stages and final results are based on weighted combination of each of them.
Award Ceremony: All winners will be announced and rewarded.
All entries in the National Tourism Awards are evaluated through a transparent and balanced process that combines public engagement with expert assessment.
All categories are assessed individually, based on distinct evaluation criteria tailored to each. The overall evaluation is based on a set of key core criteria applicable across all categories:

National Tourism Awards of Georgia follows a transparent, multi-phase evaluation process designed to ensure fairness, credibility and recognition of true excellence in the tourism industry. National Tourism Awards entire evaluation process is led and conducted by Grant Thornton, one of the world’s leading audit, tax and advisory company.
Initial Assessment: all submitted applications are screened for eligibility and completeness by the organizing committee.
Expert Jury Evaluation: a panel of independent industry experts evaluates each entry based on defined criteria. Each jury member scores the nominees individually and confidentially, ensuring impartiality.
Cross-Industry Assessment: cross-industry experts representing various sectors providing additional insights to ensure balanced, cross-sector recognition.
Public Voting: eligible entries are published online for a nationwide public vote. Public voting contributes to the overall score, increasing visibility and engagement for nominees.
Combined Scoring: final scores are calculated based on a weighted system, combining all evaluation results. This ensures a balance between expert jury, industry and public opinion.
Final Review and Confirmation: organizing committee reviews top scorers for consistency, accuracy and eligibility.
Winners are confirmed by NTA Board and announced at the Awards Ceremony.
The entire judging process is conducted with strict confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards. Jurors are required to declare any conflicts of interest and abstain from evaluating related nominees.
