Category Overview:

The “Taste of Georgia” award honors exceptional efforts in showcasing and preserving the unique culinary identity of Georgia. This includes traditional cuisine, regional cuisine and products, and authentic food experiences that contribute to the country’s gastronomic tourism appeal.

Who Can Apply:

• Restaurants, wine houses;
• Local food or wine producers;
• Culinary events, festivals, or projects;

Evaluation Criteria:

1. Authenticity : Use of traditional Georgian ingredients, methods, and recipes;
2. Creativity & Innovation : Unique presentation or adaptation of Georgian cuisine;
3. Quality & Experience : High standards in taste, service, and overall experience;
4. Cultural Impact : Promotion of Georgian culinary identity locally and abroad;
5. Sustainability: Use of local products and environmentally conscious practices (if applicable);

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be registered and legally operating in Georgia;
• Must be operational at least a year;

• WTG Team will confirm your registration and will send you invoice and list of required supporting materials;
• Complete payment within 48 hours of submitting the nomination application form;
• Send supporting materials: photos, visitor testimonials, short videos (optional), and a brief business or project description within a week of submitting the nomination application form;
